My name is Velarian Francis. I am from The Bronx, New York, and am 20 years old. I am a Hampshire College student, in my second year. My concentration will be computer sciences, with a mix of programming and graphic arts.

[edit] Favorite Restaurant
My favorite restaurant in New York is a small place named Thai On Two. It is a thai food restaurant in downtown Manhattan, that serves large amounts of food for very cheap. I generally get the same thing there, a dish called Seafood Spicy Noodles. They make some of the spiciest noodles I've ever had, which I am a huge fan of. I love it when food is spicy (not hot, spicy) enough to melt a hole through my tongue, and their noodles can do exactly that.

This is an image of the marble I created. I didn't place anything inside of it, because I spent a lot of time simply trying to make the most realistic material possible. I wasn't going for glass, more the really cheap but very hard and dense plastic ones that I had as a child. I put some things behind it to show how light acts passing through it.

This is my very basic model of a car, repeated a few times in different colors.

I made a wheel. I spent a lot of time again on the materials, trying to get accurate wheel and metallic materials. I also tried to make a nice looking hup cap for it. This is also my shared model.
